Let me try that again---------------------------------I need to tattoo "A quilt on the bed is worth two in the head" onto my arm.

I did finish up a couple sewing projects this week. And started a bunch new!

I hate to be a nit-picker, but embroidery is a noun, the name of the process. Embroider is a verb and that is what you want to do to the fabric. May I say that you are not the only one who uses the term this way, either. Another of my pet peeves is "boarder" for border. A boarder is someone who pays to live in your home; border is the finishing edge on something: quilt, wall paper, or pictures. Please don't be offended by my comments; I just like to set the record straight.

No one likes a show-off or to be corrected and embarrassed!

How about this one: I have escaped from the Quilt Police!

I appreciate Carolynjo's comment. I don't know what saying she was talking about but I do like to learn and or keep up with grammar and spelling, etc. It is not easy for me.

I like to learn as well because I'm a fairly poor speller, but to correct people in public is ill mannered.

Here is one for you, if you plan to put buttons or use button fabric on your quilt.
"Press button for maid service. If no one answers do it yourself."

I love the "Press button for maid service." I should make a bunch of mini quilts and post those all over my house.
