My quilting did not come out the way I wanted it to. I can barley see it . I used a yellow veragated most of the quilt is blue and a blach print with some yellow in it. I did the yellow so it would show up. But not my luck. Would show the quilt but it is going to someone on the board and it is not fair to show it Outher than the quilting it came out fine.

It is all a part of Murphy's law...
when you want it to show it won't
When you don't want it to show, it will
I have noticed this too even in SID

What loft and type of batting did you use? Polyester batting tends to hide stitches more than cotton. And high loft batting will also tend to hide the stitches.

With the cost of the pretty quilting threads now I want the thread to show too! I bet the quilt is lovely.

I used is Warm and Natural and it was thin. JUst one of thos things. Now I wished I had two strains of thread than one. And the thread was 100% cotton. One of the top brands.

I'll bet that the recipient will thing it's just great. Hurry and send it to her so she can show it to us.

It has a lot to do with the weight of the thread too. Like 50 or 60 or 40. I'm no expert, the thinner threads won't show as much.

I'm sure it's still great! But it's Murphy's Law....If you want it to show, it won't and vice versa.
