Does anyone have information on quilting softwares? I would like information on the quilting software, such as electic quilt, etc. Are they good programs and easy to use?, which ones are good and ones to stay away from?, are they worth the money? Please share with me if any of you have information on this.

Thank you for your time, Kyra

If you are as bad with computers as I am I recommend Quilt Wizard software for beginners. It is only $29 and worth every penny. You cannot make your own patterns with it but it has 200 in the software. User friendly and available online at quiltdesignwizard.com

Hi, Rose
I have EQ5, and I really like playing with it. I used it to design the memory quilts that I made from Mom's clothes. It is very user friendly, and you can design your own blocks, or use the ones it comes with, or even edit the blocks. It gives you the option of print out templates, rotary cutting or foundation blocks. There is a very good forum for asking questions, and getting informative prompt answers.

Wizard is also made by the Electric Quilt Co. It was cheap so I tried it out. It does all the things you mentioned except design your own blocks. I just bought a new machine to pay for so will be awhile before I can do any expensive software. But will in the future. Thanks
