Hello and welcome! About your freezer paper question, I'm not sure if your grocery stores carry this, but if they don't one of the popular names I know of is Reynolds Freezer paper. That's great! I've been told that some of the quilt shops carry an even heavier type of freezer paper, but I've had to make do with what's in the supermarket. I like it a lot for all kinds of applique work. It irons nicely to felt for wool projects, too.

They're more expensive than the grocery store but probably worth it. I just bought a new roll, so it'll be a while before i need to find out.

Bazillions of other places sell them, too. I mentioned Dharma specifically because I find their prices are usually lower than anywhere else and because you can get straight answers to your questions. The don't just sell products. They test them first and often ship extra instructions with them.

I googled it and found lots of sources. I'll bet you can find one in Australia.

hi patrice,,i had looked in the supermarket for the freezer paper and did not find it,but when i was buying some batting for my quilt i seen the freezer paper in a a big roll at my nearest Spotlight store,i live in Adelaide South Australia,not sure if you have heard of them.where are you from. :?:
