Quilts of Valor
 

This morning, our local PBS station had QUILTS OF VALOR on as part of their fundraising campaign. Quite good. Hosted by Mary Ann Fons, with 3 guest quilters, all well known.

Each quilter taught a rookie how to make a quilt.

The stories followed thru to the presentations to the vets who received the quilts.

Keep an eye out for the show.

I would like to see that, we get the PBS Create channel, but I never seem to see any quilting shows. Just cooking.

We got that in Houston also.

In Phoenix the only quilting show left is Fons and Porter.
I refuse to support our PBS station.

I saw the show too. Quilts of Valor is such a wonderful organization.

Quilts of Valor was shown in Portland, OR, about a month ago. Wonderful project.
