A prior post has sparked my question. Thank you!
I want to make two rag quilts. I have one layer of fleece, and two of flannel, which will be bottom and middle. Will that work or not enough of the fleece versus flannel? Top will be fleece, next two will be flannel. Thanks for the advice! |
It will rag, not as much as 3 layers of flannel, but with the fleece that might be too heavy. :D:D:D

The flannel will fray, but I think the fleece just kind of curls.

I have made a few that way, and I liked the way they turned out. As long as the fleece is a contrasting color... it really pops in the seam allowances.

If you are using one full layer of fleece then I would only use one layer of flannel. It will still be very warm and heavy. :)
I have made several this way with no problems and I think they look great! |
