I have a hankering to attempt a Double Wedding Ring quilt - can anyone recommend a good book for this? What size of block/ring is optimum to allow a nice bit of quilting in the middle of the rings? And I suspect that a foundation approach to the rings might be more acurate than individually pieced ones, please can I have some input on relative merits, or other ideas. Many thanks

Thank you Loretta for pointing me in the direction of Patrice's great tutorial - it answered all my questions in one go! Thank you Patrice for all your efforts - great info. and pics.

LOL, just based on the subject line, I was going to recommend 'Audition' by Barbara Walters! Reading it now and surprisingly good, but so far no quilts are mentioned.

No, don't have any quilt books to recommend for double wedding ring. I'm sure you'll get several suggestions.

warm quilt hugs, sue

If Eleanor Burns has one that would be the one to get. Her instructions are the easiest and best methods to use.
More power to you, that is one pattern I will not do. I bought one before I took up quilting.

Still too hard for me but know where to look if I ever get brave enough.
