Hi All,

I recently purchased a Bernina 830 Record (the old mechanical style). Unfortunately as it was handed down through the family, the carrying case was lost. I'm keeping an eye on eBay for a replacement (one sold the day BEFORE I purchased the machine), but was wondering if people had a favorite case/rolling bag that they might recommend.

Cheers, K

I have a tapestry looking case on wheels I purchased from JoAnns with a coupon. I use it when I go on retreat. It looks like a nice piece of luggage. I don't know if they still carry them or not. My Bernina weighs at least 28lbs without accesories etc. so I appreciate being able to roll it rather than lug it.

I LOVE my Tutto!

I got the medium rolling case with the accessory bag. I can take everything with me when I go to workshops.

I have the same tapestry rolling tote purchased from Hancock's a few years ago. It has held up well. I also have a generic rolling file box that I put my Featherweight into..it fits perfectly. Then I have a large tote bag to put all my project supplies in.

i have the Na Navigator.(scrapbooking rolling tote).i got it at michaels a few years ago..used a 50% off coupon..i think it ended up paying $50 for it.
you really need to measure the machine to make sure it fits in any of these totes on wheels.

i could not afford the Tutto or whatever it is, but would love to have one!

You can't go wrong with a Tutto. My little "Office on Wheels" was a gem when I did trade shows and retreats.

Going through airports, you can stack all your other luggage on top of it and it still turns on a dime. It goes up and down stairs with ease. Plus, if there are no chairs available, you can sit on it. :)
