Hi friends! I need help/guidance. I have a pattern for an Army Star that is 12 inches but I want to increase it to 15 inches. Any ideas or guidance? Thanks!

resize on copier, or add borders or shashing

You do not need to go to a copy shop to resize it.
If you already have a scan of your block in jpg for example, you can download PosteRazor and resize it and print it out so it will easily tile for you and then you can tape together the pieces and viola - you have a new template for your block.

Yes, my secret is out... That's how I'm resizing the paper piecing pieces for my upcoming wall quilts lol. I resized my scan in my photo editing software (I used Gimp but photoshop or any program like Mihov which is free), saved my file and inputted it in to posterazor. I am totally sold on it :) You can also edit it directly in to the posterazor program which would have saved me a step. I'll do that next time ;)

I tried it out on one of the scans from the book and resized it to 150% and printed it out on 4 pieces. It worked perfectly :D

An old fashioned girl here... I would just redraw it at 15". Old ways work too.

To enlarge: Size you want = 12" and Current size = 4"
12/4=3 (answer times 100 = 300%)
To reduce: Size you want = 7" and Current size = 12"
7/12=.58 (answer times 100 = 58%)
