I have seen numerous questions about restoring/washing old quilts. Just today this product was posted on Fabric Depot's blog. I thought some may find this useful.

I was just looking at four antique quilts last night that had nasty yellowing. I love the old quilts but thought they would never clean up. This stuff looks like it is worth trying.
Thanks,
Harry

I just ordered some. I hope it works I have several yellowed quilts I picked up at sales. I'll let everyone know when it gets here and I try it.
Thanks ever so much for the link Stillwaters. ;-)

I have one quilt that is an Antique which I bought the top from my Great Great Aunt. I have always been afraid to wash it because my Great Aunt hand quilted it for me with a BRIGHT orange backing. THANKS for the info.

I bought Restoration at a quilt shop. It has the same main ingredient. Maybe now I have seen the photos I will have the courage to use it. I was afraid it would damage the quilts. A lady asked the quilt shop to order some as she had used all hers and thought it was great!
