I just bought a bolt of fabric and it did NOT mention in the description that it was a RocLon muslin that is permanent press!

has anyone used this type of muslin before? It says 100% cotton, so what makes it permanent press? Can it be removed?

I've used it before. The perm press is a little stiffer so it seems to keep the muslin from wrinkling. I find the regular muslin gets soiled looking quickly because its weave is a little coarse but the perm press is smoother to the touch and does't pick up soil as easily. May in Jersey

I thought RocLon was a drapery lining.

I know..I remember selling Roclon lining for years..but they also make muslin...which is what they use for lining before they coat it..hehe

this was sold as "aged" muslin..it is a bit of a latte color really...very nice with civil war and KS trouble fabrics..I mean smokin hot really...

I guess I will still use it...but will wash in hot water just in case I can help it any..ehhehe

thanks guys
