I just bought a bolt of fabric and it did NOT mention in the description that it was a RocLon muslin that is permanent press!
has anyone used this type of muslin before? It says 100% cotton, so what makes it permanent press? Can it be removed? |
I've used it before. The perm press is a little stiffer so it seems to keep the muslin from wrinkling. I find the regular muslin gets soiled looking quickly because its weave is a little coarse but the perm press is smoother to the touch and does't pick up soil as easily. May in Jersey

This is what I buy at WalMart for my schoolkid's crayon blocks.

WE use it a lot for backing, because its nuetral in color and looks great.
