I'll have to try this. :)
I usually use the method described in antique sewing machine books - fold the hem and tack it down at the end, maneuver the hem onto the coil, back the foot up to the tacked part of the hem, put down the presser foot and sew. It's already easy, but this way looks even faster! :) The hemmers are my favorite tools - especially if you're hemming miles and miles of ruffles, or the edges of curtains. |
