Hi all, I'm looking for a rotary cutter that is better for my sore wrists. There are alot out there that profess to be good for carpal tunnel syndrome but I want your opinions! And thrifty is better!!

Besides having a cutter that feels good to you, there are a couple of other tips
Make sure your cutting surface is the right height, you will find it won't be as painful. Keep sharp blades in your cutter, you won't have to apply as much pressure. |
I know they are a bit pricey, but the Martelli Cutter is the best...It really helps alleviate the pain...

larkin Van Horn, who is a prolific art quilter, has a full set of exercises to do for quilters. Last time I checked they were not on her web site, but to follow her lead, pick out a couple that help you and make sure you take regular breaks from your task to do them.

I do have a wrap but it is awkward when sewing. I think most of this is due to our moving ourselves, our ongoing saga. Moving, painting etc is hard on my joints!!!

The Martelli cutter keeps your wrist in a neutral position. That's why it's better than other cutter for carpal tunnel. Here is a link to their website with a demo video:

Also, when painting and hammering, bend at the elbow when possible, not at the wrist. I messed up my wrist pretty good one time while putting up sheet rock by bending my wrist, not my elbow.
