For those who asked about the safety guards (thread about accidents w/rotary cutters)--I was referring to the guards sold by Olfa - they come 3 to a set & retail for about $15.00. The set has 3 different sizes, & are applied to the top of your ruler w/an adhesive strip.
While I don't mean to promote merchandise, this is the best protection for preventing the rotary cutter from 'jumping the track' -going over the edge of the ruler - & possible doing bodily harm! Another benefit is that it is always there, unlike the glove which I would either forget, or not take the time to put on.
I encourage everyone to find & use! whatever works best for them so as to protect their precious fingers!:)

I understand what you are saying about the gloves too time consuming :roll: Or maybe I am too lazy :wink:
