San Antonio, TX quilt shop
 

I will be in San Antonio, TX this weekend visiting my daughter. Any suggestions for LQS? Especially interested in Asian prints right now.

I go to Memories By the Yard on Mainland (off Bandera outside Loop 410). They have a good selection of fabric (asian included). The people that work there are very friendly and helpful. I know there are a few other quilt shops in San Antonio but I have not been to them. There is also a great shop in New Braunsfel called The QuiltHaus which is really quite good and worth checking out. Have a great weekend in San Antonio and enjoy your fabric shopping.

Creations at Kerrville, TX is about a hour out of San Antonio. Fantastic, large selectionstore, awesome batiks!! Well worth the trip.

Thanks, Everyone! Lots of choices! I was in Kerrville 2 years ago and didn't even think about them having a quilt shop. So many choices, so little time!

I don't know if people check the posts they've replied to, but I visited Memories by the Yard and they closed the doors before we got out of there. They had western fabric, go figure. I couldn't find any in Atlanta, GA, but they have it in Texas. Once again, bought fabric without a pattern. They were very patient as we dragged out countless bolt trying to coordinate and come up with a pattern on the spot.
We also visited the Quilt Haus. Lovely store with a kitchen store on one side and a card shop on the other. We had a great time! Thanks for the referrals!
