I saw this pattern and my little guy is really in love with it- any one have any idea what it is called or where I can find it

I love this quilt. I don't have the pattern but I don't think it would be too hard to figure out. Later today or tonight I will play with my EQ7 to see if I can. If I do figure it out, I will pm you. That is for sure go high on my to do list. Thanks for sharing the picture.

You can make it by sewing WOF strips together (pale, light blue, medium blue, dark purple (as shown on my monitor)). Then you cut triangles out so that half of the triangles have the pale at the top and the other half have the dark purple at the top. You then sew 4 together to make a block.

I've got the ruler at home that makes it easier to do this, but can't recall the name of it off hand.

I love the purples of the one above. Don't know what the name may be.

I just did some googling and found that the ruler I'm thinking about is the strip tube ruler. This type of block could be done with a regular ruler, but using the special triangle ruler helps line everything up better for easier cutting.

Whew, it took my breath away. Blue is my favorite color and this one is striking. I think you could figure it out easy enough.

I'm attaching a diagram that may help explain what I posted earlier.

Make sure when using a ruler that does not have blunt tip and/or "line" across the tip of the ruler, that you let the tip of the ruler hang over the edge of the fabric for the seam allowance. I forgot to show that in the diagram.

Looks to me to be a log cabin block cut through the diagonal. Half the blocks start with a light center and graduate out and half with a dark center that graduates out. Looks a little like "outside the box" by Toadusew?
