I believe Elanor Burns has a scallop ruler on her site (Quilt in a Day) and I have also seen them recently at Hobby Lobby as well as JoAnn Fabrics.

I bought a scallop ruler. I think that is the most important thing to do. It will give you the right size to make your scallops and you want your corners to be round. Yes, Jenny Doan's YouTube video is excellent. She uses the scallop ruler and she teaches so well that a beginner could understand her. Check out her YouTube video. But be sure to buy the scallop ruler she uses. It's the best IMO.

Eleanor Burns has a ruler for that.

Interesting - I love Jenny Dolan's video. I thought the binding would have to be bias, but food for thought I attended a presentation by Janice Pope where she says it is best to do all your bindings on the bias, they wear better. Anyway back to the point, I just watched the Utube video with Marci Baker that LaQuita referenced - she is showing more of a facing then binding and did not use a bias strip. She used more a 6" facing folded in half. Interestingl. Thanks again for all of your input, so much to learn - luv it!!! Also of interest is the stay stitching and not stay stitching, think I will for "safety's sake". Also, as some have mentioned sewing on binding before cutting, well stay stitching should solve any issues that would prevent, I think. Thanks again.

I,too, learned to used adding machine tape to make sure I didn't have any weird corners. Worked fine.
