I spent 4 hours messing in my sewing room today! I had 2 full totes of scrap batting that was getting out of control! I tamed one tote. Pieced my scrap batting together and got enough batting for 8 charity baby quilts.
So how many tame their batting scraps or what do you do with them?

Yup, I do the same thing. And the little pieces I use for smaller projects.
-
If I don't have any small things planned, like pot holders, etc, I will piece them together too. If they are really small I save them for pillow stuffing.
-
I use it for baby quilt as well, but I also make placemate with the samll pieces. also good fillters for the fish tank to.
-
You can cut it up into much smaller pieces (with your rotary cutter) and use it for stuffing pillows, toys, etc.
-
Deedum, I also piece the smaller sections together for charity quilts or tablerunners. It's just another way for quilters to be resourceful!!! :)
-
I keep the quilts for The American Veterans Project churning with pieced, scrap batting!!!!
LOL>>> I"m not sure I'd know how to use a FULL piece of batting any more!!! LOL
-
I gathered all mine into one tote and will use the pieces to do all the placemats I am making for Christmas.
-
I used mine to make pincushions. I don't like to piece batting for quilts.

How do you piece the batting?
