How cute. We have a very mini tree and I will make some tiny one to go on it. And you could put fiberfil in it and make them round. I would sew top of hanger by machine and then hand sew the bottom. Thanks, that is great, and would be cute with names on them too. Or Merry Christmas too.

I was thinking of making them to hang on the practitioners doors where I work. We have our decorating day on the 23rd. I would need 12 or so.

What a great idea and so versatile. I was thinking pot holders also or a table topper (make a little larger) or placemats or ......

Looks like it would be easy and fun to make. Thanks for sharing the link.

I have strips of different widths - I can visualize these ornaments done with different width strips and different sizes. Also use fabric for the ornament top (same technique) and that way whether used as a decoration or a gift tag, or pot holder, trivet, candle mat etc. they could be washed. Change the shape and you could have Easter Eggs. They would make super decorations for outside. Hmmm - guess I had better get busy and gather my strips so that they are all in the same place. I don't have that circle cutter ruler either. Oh darn another trip to my LQS is in my future - probably tomorrow. LOL

I love it too but not sure about the tin foil part. Anyone try it yet?
