Scrap lone star
Somewhere in here book or magazine I have seen a large scrap lone star quilt. Does anyone have any idea where I saw it or if they know of a pattern. Please.

If you are thinking of Bonnie Hunters scrappy quilt called Santa Fe String Star which I call a lone star it is in here book called " String Fling ". If you look up on the computer lone star by Bonnie Hunter it will show a picture of it.

Very similar but all the diamonds were solid colours on a white background. If I don't find it may look at hat for pattern insperasion .

I saw one in an old magazine I was just looking at. Quilter's Newsletter Magazine Mar 1989. However, there was no pattern for it in the magazine. It would have to be pieced the old way, but sewing each diamond together, rather than doing strip sets. Or you could do strip-sets with different fabrics. If you want white on the outside corners, then just use big pieces of white fabric, instead of the different colored diamonds.

Yes that is closer . Oh so mad I loved the pattern .
