Scraps - what to do with them?
I also have a huge stash of scraps and need to use them up. What is "mile a minute'? Thank you.
Love the site. |

i cut my scraps into 2.5" strips and store them by color... then i can use them whenever doing log cabins, or strip piecing or any other strip style... anything smaller than that is chopped into confetti and stored by color for future confetti blocks... just because I enjoy both these techniques...

Mile a min is one strip then chain stitch crumbs to them. Keep adding to make them large blocks

I have this down as mile a minute..but in the blog, its called 'crumb blocks'.They are fun and kinda of addictive! I also make string blocks and postage stamp blocks. When my scraps get smaller than 2x 2, they go into the dog bed pile. |
