has anyone ever made a quilt using sear sucker (sorry, not sure if that's the way to spell it). Any pro/cons to using that kind of fabric?

i used some for binding and am thinking about using it for a simple kid quilt, the only thing is it flattens when you iron it and i don't know if it gets krinkled again after it's washed or not, i couldn't tell on the binding so i'm going to try to just finger press

Yes I have used it, and no the krinkle will not return. I finger press only.

I had wondered about ironing and the wrinkles returning, thanks for the info :D:D:D

I have seen some great "summer" quilts made with sear sucker.
Top and backing or just a thin muslin batting.
