I remember a quilt that was my grandmother's. This was around 1945. I have been unsuccessful in finding this old pattern. It was extremely similar to a 'sunbonnet sue' except instead all girls, there were girls and boys. The big difference is that they were DUTCH boys and girls. They had the special dutch hats that turned up on the corners, and the boys pants were bloucey. They also had wooden shoes. Does anyone have any information about this quilt pattern? Thank you.

When I went into the search on this forum, I found a few discussions on this topic. Here's one link that has a little girl done in embroidery maybe you could adapt it to appliqué?

Do a search on the web for little dutch boy quilt patterns and little dutch girl quilt patterns. There are lots of them you might be able to use.

Thank you for your tip. I spent over 2 hours there yesterday.
