Seeking to Donate Fabric for Non-Profit

Am helping downsize an estate in suburban Philadelphia. Seeking a non-profit near here to which we can donate approx. 6 cartons of quality, useable fabric for quilters -- perhaps connected with a hospital? disabled adults or kids?
Please advise ASAP. Will deliver.

You could contact a quilt guild. I know that our quilt guild makes charity quilts.

Check at churches, senior centers, schools, Project Linus, etc....there surely will be someone glad to get the donated fabric!

Check to see if there is a Quilts 4 kids in your area, they may take the fabric.

Valley Forge Homestead Quilt Guild has a service arm that makes comfort quilts for veterans and children's hospitals and can always use fabric and batting donations. They are in King of Prussia if that is any help. Here is their website http://www.valleyforgequilters.org/

Our guild makes donation/comfort quilts for foster children and for the underprivledged children, we alos make adult bibs (they look like aprons instead of bibs) and lap quilts for nursing homes....Too bad we're not in your area. Guess Texas is too far to deliver, huh?

If you are looking for a charitable write-off for the estate, make sure you donate to a qualifying NPO. They aren't all the same.
