Seeking Quilting Advice!
A few months ago I made this baby quilt and just did an allover stipple pattern to quilt it:
http://www.quiltingboard.com/members...30-366513.html Now I have another one just like it (but in the blues colorway) ready to quilt, and I'd like to do something a little more interesting and creative with the quilting. I have wracked my brain for a cool way to FMQ the blocks that won't involve too much starting and stopping, and thought I'd ask you all for some ideas. What do you think? |
It might be fun to play up the negative space first? Echoing at 1/2 inch intervals down the length of the shapes in the cream might be a start?

If you would like to do a similar "meandering" design, there are many stencils available with specific designs but set in a meandering fmw arrangement. You would have to mark them but the use of the "Magic Chalk" pounce type system would make marking easy. There are flowers, hearts, loops and many many more motifs.

Actually, your stipple work looks great!

I really like the meandering that you've done on your first quilt. If pushed to suggest something different, I might go with a diagonal diamond design.
