I like to use my chalk roller type (pencil, not exacately sure what this one is called) the only color I have is blue and used for alot of my projects. The thing is that if I don't wipe it, the white thread doesn't look real white and when I try to wipe it, it seems to not come off all the way. If you have one does this happen to you? Does it eventually come out when washed? And what about the stitching? I feel like I am so picky. But if I want to sell something it has to look its best to me. By the way I have other pencils and a white(soap?) chalk pencil but they don't always seem to work very well for me so I use the one with the wheel.

If when I said about being perfect and if offends anyone about the way I put the above message please I didn't mean too. I appolagize.

quilterj, I don't know about the pencil you speak of but I wanted to say there was nothing offensive in your post.
I read you complimenting others, nothing offensive.

to me if it is perfect it doesn't look handmade. i sometimes will make a mistake so it isn't perfect. a small imperfection that i only can notice.
