I'm in the beginning stages of redoing my son's old room into my sewing room. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good height for my sewing table and for my cutting table.

I have both my sewing table and my cutting table on bed risers. I'm not tall, but the tables being high works for me.

what ever is comfortable height for you...so your arms can be at or near a 90 degree angle (less stress for the shoulders and arms).

Thank you. I think your at or near 90 degree angle is the information I was looking for.
Thank you again.

Good question. I'll have to watch this one.

I am 5'2" and have a terrible time with my back when I wash dishes. I have to move around the kitchen and clean other things in the middle as my sink is at the wrong height. So in between, I'll clean my stove, microwave, etc and then go back to the dishes. Or dry and put away what I already washed.

I hate dishwashers so I do it all by hand.

When cutting out fabric so far I've only used the kitchen table, but some day....!
