googled it and it seems that is aka the "throat" is this correct? (google did not bring up much for what part is the harp on a sewing machine, instead I ended up reading the history of sewing machines hehe) interesting read |

If only I lived in MN I would buy one. My grandma had one just like the first one listed. I learned to sew on a treadle sewing machine.
