someone recently posted pictures of a sewing room that had shelf with dowels for all the spools of ribbon, I want to build something like that in my new place-do you remember where it was?- I checked the post of recent sewing rooms, but didn't see it.

My DH made me a ribbon holder a couple yrs ago he just took a piece of oak and drilled 2 holes 1/2 thru the oak ( routed around the edges of course) and wood glued 2 dowel rods into the holes.

Routed for smooth edges, no splinters!
