Yesterday when I went to the post office...they are great. Instead of shipping it flat rate they checked to see if it would be cheaper for me to use their priority mail box. It was 8.00 cheaper!!! Be sure to asked them before just shipping out your quilt.

You can go on the USPS.com website & when you put in the zipcode your mailing to, you will see the different Priority options. They have added a few Priority boxes of different sizes. I got a flyer in the mail last week advertising the new boxes & you can get a "starter kit" of the different size boxes if you order on their website. My local post office rarely has all the different size boxes, so I order them online & postman brings them to me.

Oh...and I was sending out a bunch of scraps and appliques and sent them by reg. mail....I had no idea that the stamps are now 49 cents...I bought a bunch of the forever stamps for the future. OK...49 cents is still very cheap but it does add up quickly...
