Side Cutter Foot

I have been looking at these lately, but am unsure. Can anyone give some feedback? Have you used one? Do you like it? It is just a gadget that collects dust? I have a Babylock that I love and have no intention of getting a serger. I do think I might occasionally use this foot though.
What do you think?

I have a Babylock, too, and I was wondering the same thing. I wonder how practical it really is? It would cut the fabric OK, but we would still need to finish the seam in at least 2 steps, I think. I'll be anxious to see if anyone has used it and what they think of it.

I did a search on Amazon for side cutter attachments that fit Babylock. You might want to read the reviews for these items:

You should be able to get lots of information that way.

Would you be using it for sewing garments? Because I don't think it would be useful for quilting.

one came with my Brother Ult. While it does the job it won't replace a serger.
