I am looking for a beginners, with a small amount of experience, pattern for table runners and placemats. Can anyone send me a link of a pattern, it would be appreciated.

Here is a table runner : http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-77376-1.htm

the 10 minute table runner

for place mats they can be as simple as a piece of fabric top and bottom- batting in the middle

It is a great place to use blocks that you want to experiment with, as only three or four blocks will make a nice runner with some borders added and maybe sashing!

I made 4 of these runners for Christmas, they go together quickly. And there's matching placemats.

I just completed these placemats and napkins for my Daughter in law! This set of 6 are reversible:)
I am now planning a table runner to complete this set!
I would love to hear your thoughts:)

Ida
