Singer 201, or 15-91?
what is the difference between the 201 and the 15-91 and what is a good pirce for them..I seen a 15-91 on ebay with shipping would be around 200.00 is that a good price?
would this machine be a good one for FMQ? and do both of the machine have there feedogs able to drop> thank you |
The 201 has a horizontal bobbin, the 15-91 has vertical bobbin. I've heard the 15-91 is better for fmq, but they are both excellent, reliable machines. $200 seems a little too high to me.

I'd say $200 for a 15-91 is way high. Got one here in a cabinet way, way cheaper than that! Too bad you're not closer...such a deal I could make you!

I bought a 15-91 in a cabinet for $35. I have a 201 that was stretched and put on a frame, it stitches beautifully.

I have 2 singer 15's, love them both. paid $50 for one in a cabinet and stool. paid $20 for the other one 37 yrs ago.
Just can't beat them, feed dogs drop on these for FM. The 15 is a favorite of mine. |
