That would be wonderful!!!!! Do you get to leave everything @ the college and they lock it up for you????
That would be awesome to be able to do that instead of packing and unpacking

My guild rents 5 days twice a year at a summer camp in the fall right after the camp closes and spring right before the camp opens. We provide our own food. We have the big activity room for sewing and a separate kitchen area. Each cabin has four bunk beds and there are enough cabins that no one has to sleep in the top bunk. Some members come for a day, some all week, some a few hours a day. It's open to all guild members. It's right outside of town so members can go home in the evening if they prefer. No one is at the camp but us. Big pond with rowing boats and walking trails provide a nice sewing break.

The best of both worlds, a nice retreat and being able to sleep in your own bed. Enjoy.

Well that was a blast. Everyone had a great time and got lots of things done. I got all 176 square in a square blocks done.

What a great idea!

Hi
I have been to several day camp quilt retreats, have them here in town a few times a year. Wonderful idea! You sleep, shower, etc. at home and go quilt, eat, visit, snack, quilt, eat, all day and evening!
One of the real perks is you can bring different projects from home or run and get something you need etc..
Still do overnight retreats, but the sleep at home ones are very appealing, nothin like your own bed!

 These are the only type of retreats I have been too. we would also do some fun things like exchanges and a little workshop.
