Just wandering and in need of your help.
Is that any way to sew a snail's trail block using paper piecing method, without sections? My doubt lays on the 4 patch central part.... I want to sew a whole sequence of snail's trails, as a last border for a beach themed Round Robin quilt... TY in advance |
I think you would want to start with the 4-patch already sewn. Put that on the center of your paper and build from there. At least that's how I did some for this quilt - http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-23517-1.htm. This small quilt was once my avatar, but it isn't any longer, so the post is confusing, but a picture of the quilt is in the post.

I wonder if the Farmers Wife Quilt has a Snails Trail block? If so, there are PP patterns available online.

I've dealt to find the PP patterns online, until now I didn't... any aditional help? I have a long list of "online patterns site", but until now I didn't find. It is probably because of the initial 4 patch. But today I'll try to draw my border, following Dunster's suggestion... when it will be done, I'll let all of you know! TY from Sylvia, abusing of her broken English, But I know you all are so kind to "translate" it! |
Your English is just fine!! Can I speak yours, even a wee bit. NOT! So stand up and be proud.
Yes, Farmer's Wife is like Dear Jane ... Honchey has been the leader of this Quilt-Along. Here's a link to the threads. http://www.quiltingboard.com/user_to...m=15408&page=1 |

One point that has always frightened me is that I've heard that you can install it only twice. And I thought: what if I need (as happened before) to reformat my computer, twice in a sequence ? It has happened the last time my computer was sent to the local computer technician... :-( Do you have any advice about to EQ??? Sylvia |
