I read directions for a 61/2" block & use 21/2" blocks for the corners. I have several 6" blocks from a swap at my guild. My question is, "what size corner blocks would I use for a 6"sq"?
I am anxious to make a snowball quilt. Help please !!! Nancy

I would use 2 1/4" blocks. It may not be proportionately perfect but it would be close enough for me. Otherwise you will end up with a weird size corner block that would be hard to measure.

I just googled 6 1/2" snowball block and the first site said to use 2 1/2" square and the 2nd site said to use 2 1/4"

Guess it would be a matter of choice.

I use the 2.5" as it is a 5" charm cut into 4ths!
