I've used Kona cotton and although I find it to be of decent quality, it doesn't compare to standard quilt store fabrics. But sometimes, I just really need a SOLID color. I've seen a few jelly rolls from Moda (white, black, and pastel) that are truly solid, but who else makes this?
Really would like to pick up some, and have looked at quite a few websites without much luck. Thanks in advance, Sam |
Thousands of Bolts has alot of solids, I've used them and they work for me.

If you are using the Kona from Joann's, it's not the same as Kaufman Kona fabric (the good stuff from the quilt shop). If you look at the bolt, you will not see Kaufman's name on those. There's really no comparison. Kaufman's is very nice.

Would these solids go well with batiks? I am makeing a quilt with a jelly roll of batiks, but need to find a equal quality for the solid yardage.
