"Sponge Bob", what pattern to use?

My 5 year old Grandson wants a SpongeBob quilt. I purchased the fabric but
don't know what pattern would be best to use. Something simple, because he
will ask me everyday "is it finished yet" I don't want to keep him waiting too
long, LOL.
Thanks in advance. I appreciate all the help I get from this forum.

Ten minute quilt block? You can look this up on Youtube.com and there are several tutorials.

I bet a disappearing 9 patch with him in the left corner would work great....love yours too Up North!

I used a snow ball pattern, with sashing between each block. My DGS loves it. He sleeps with his quilt every night

I would do a top in the same colours as your fabric maybe Warm Wishes. I would use the Spongebob fabric whole on the back. Simple and done! The best quilt for a 5 year old.

do a four-patch block alternating with a nine-patch block. Each can be strip pieced so it goes together really quickly.

Love ALL your suggestions. Thanks to you all.
Now all I have to do is make up my mind, LOL.
