Couple of days ago I posted about being ready to trade that sucker in on something else...............Well, took a freemotion class today, learned how to thread the machine and bunch of other things and I think I may really, really like this machine. So, if I turned anyone away - I apologize. The horizon is so much fun. Just was in a rush, had just taken the machine out of the box and thought or maybe just wasn't thinking and got very frustrated very fast. Don't buy a new machine and not take some time to read the manual and play with it for a little while before needing to be able to use it for a class the next day. LOL

I love mine!!! Glad you are getting along with yours :)

Great advice:)

I love mine too!
|
See there, I knew you would!!!
|
What I love about the bigger machines is that you can learn more new things about them every day
|
So glad you two are getting along now. Owner's Manuals are great.

I'm hoping to get one in a few years for an early retirement present for me. Until then, I'm going to sit down at every one I see at a Quilt Show and play!

The best time investment I ever made, was the three classes that came with my Janome. Otherwise, I would never have had the courage to use so many of its special features. I keep the manual close too.

I just watched alittle demostration on the Horizon in the store yesturday. I was on my lunch hour so I couldnt stay long. But it looked like a really nice machine.
Enjoy yours. |
Good for you. I love mine but I wasn't sure I liked it at first, either. It is so different from my other Janomes that I really had to get my head wrapped around how it functions. But it truly is a dynamite machine.
