I am ready to quilt my "charming baby log cabin" quilt. I would like to stipple the center block. Do I start in the very middle of the center block? This is my first endeaver. Thank you. sherry mcd

I start on the side... but you might try copying the block onto paper and see if it is easier to draw the stipple starting from the center or side. How it's easiest to draw, will be how it's easiest to sew

I always start in a corner.

I think that starting in the center may also leave you with the dilemma of how to close up the intial stitching area smoothly and neatly....
