I bought my pattern in a LQS, but I can tell you it is very easy and looks fabulous!
|
I have made several of them and they are fun to do and very impressive when finished.
|
I got mine at Astitchintimenc.com they were so helpful there and
they have Strata Star kits you can buy, I sent a picture of the colors that I wanted and they did a wonderful job of picking out fabrics for me... You can also just buy the pattern |

Several months ago, there a tutorial of this pattern or a link to a tutorial. The woman was French, German, I can't remember but it was a very good tutorial. Maybe someone else will be more help than I've been. You may find it in a search of the board.

How do you bind yours? I have the top made but am unsure how to bind or if an envelope/birthing method would work better.
|
I made this and did the backing envelope style with the opening being in the middle of the backing. I have a hard time closing up openings when they are on the edge. Never comes out straight. Does not require binding. Binding would be a distraction IMHO

We have the pattern at our LQS, have had classes and I've made several. They are quick and easy and look SO complicated--my kind of project for sure! The shop is Deb's Cats n Quilts in Franklin, NC
