Hi,
I have two Babylock embroidery machines, an Elegante 2 (love it!!) and my Elllure also embroiders, does a good job without the bells and whistles of the Elegante.
I love both my Babylocks and I have a fantastic dealer that will help you anytime you call the shop, over the phone she can assist on many issues. She's great! That's very important to buy your machine from a dealer that will be there to answer questions, offer lesson, help with issues you might have down the road, not every store that sells machines backs them.
Most brands all have websites with videos about each machine, or check out utube even.
I have the magna hoop (large one) and 2 snap hoops for my Elegante and love em. I embroider designs right from my netbook to my machine, but the Elegante also can use a USB or a card. It literally threads itself. Can combine patterns, CUTS THE JUMP THREADS!
Keep us posted on your decision.
Bev

Me again,

Check out the new Babylock Unity....has lighting on it that's fantastic and it has a laser light.....someone I know has it and is thrilled with it. It's between the Ellisimo and my Elegante2.

I have the Babylock Spirit an embroidery only machine and I love it! the largest hoop size is 7x12 and it comes with a 5x7 as well. It has a sensor pen where you can touch the fabric where you want the design to be at or rotate it at. I traded my Babylock Ellure for it since i only used it for embroidery and I have two other Babylock sewing machines. I'm in love with the machine and very user friendly. But I do believe that you do all your research and reviews. If you can test one or any of the ones mentioned here I would recommend it. Good luck on your find!
