Suggestions, please....

Ok, Ladies, can you suggest someplace other than ebay or craigslist where you all sell your tote bags that you make, and even the ones that you don't make yourself. I have a few that I have made, as well as a retired Vera Bradley, but I live in such a small town, there really is no place locally. I know that Etsy does not allow non-handmade items. So, if you have any ideas, I would appreciate them. Thanks in advance. :)

Hmmm... not sure how many bags you have, but what about a flea market booth? That might be too much investment though if you don't have a whole lot of bags.

good idea, but there are no flea markets where i live... :)

I've had good luck taking my bags to my Weight Watcher's meetings. Seems like every week someone wants another bag made. I take in a few new ones that I've made each week and they love seeing them. Do you have somewhere that you get together with other women?

Is there a grocery where you can post picture on bulletin board and little tear off with phone #

How about your church or another local group in the area?

When I lived in Chapel Hill, TN. there was a small independent drug store that sold them for a local lady that made them. If you live in a small town, check with beauty salons, drug stores, perhaps even a small hardware store. I found the people in Tennessee so accomadating, friendly and always ready to help. Just a thought, but might help.
God Bless.

As mentioned before post on a notice board at a grocery store (our library has one too). Also try smaller independent stores, gift shops, clothing stores.

Do you work? I took some to work and sold some there (shhh I work for a municipality). Are you on Facebook? I've sold some there too. I set up a separate page just for my bags.

How about mentioning it to your girlfriends? I have sold tons of them that way myself.

I live in a fairly small town. Many residents have a P O Box; the post office has a bulletin board where for sale ads are posted.
