Suggestions?
 

This is the fabric I am using for a quilt for my husband on our anniversary this year (I have been getting complaints that he never gets any of the quilts I make :D ). I am hoping to do something with a fire dept theme to it, or just fire in general. Any suggestions? I have until July 11th!

Maybe a tossed nine patch or a rail fence both would look very nice and are quickly made. Both are my "go to" patterns when I need something fast and/or easy.

Disappearing 4 patch with black background and fire truck border.

With the exception of the tan, all the fabrics are darks. Maybe you might try brightening it up a bit with a few more lights and medium value colors; the blue in the truck print for example. There is a flame print out there somewhere also.
