I went to a quilt show yesterday in PA.. Saw this VERY reasonable 16 inch “long arm” quilting machine. I tested it out and really liked it…. It doesn’t have a stitch regulator. It was very smooth…. Anyone have one???? Cost about $1500 for the machine only.

I saw that machine, too. I think that you could use it, but it would require some practice for you to get even stitches without a stitch regulator. Seemed like a nice machine.

Does it have a name? :|

Not a bad price at all!

I have been wanting that machine since the Dallas show. I am used to machine quilting without a regulator on my domestic and would just love the big open area for the quilt, and I like the way you sit at the head of the machine. My only thing was, the person there was not a very good salesperson. I don't like overbearing sales so that was not the problem, just didn't feel like I got enough information if something went wrong, etc. I too would like to know if anyone has one and how they like the service and the machine itself.

Sunshine 16 by Pennywinkle Valley Ranch..... The owners were there at the show.... Very nice people.... said that the machine only needed to be oiled in 5 places on the head of the machine. Sewed nicely, but want info from anyone that may own it....... $2795 for the machine and frame

I'm interested to know if any of you ladies went ahead and purchased the Sunshine 16, and how you like it.

Curious too. Is this a table mounted mid-arm? I've been researching those a bit as I would love the harp space but no room for a frame. Nor can I justify 5 figures for a setup.
