Super Christmas present!
 

My son and daughter-in-law gave me a great Christmas present. A quarter-inch foot with guide, 20 bobbins, and several packages of machine needles for my machine! Isn't that great? They know that I change needles every time I start a new project. They were so thoughtful. I just had to share what wonderful kids I have.

That's wonderful. All such usable gifts...the best kind.

My dh wanted to find me some new quilt shops. He found two and got gc's from them and a notion or two. He then went to my favorite quilt shop and also got a table runner and some notions and a gc.

To my big surprise ds's also got me a gc from my favorite quilt shop.

It really made me feel good that they really appreciate what I do.

Just love when the kids know what I want and get it for me. Makes Christmas very enjoyable.

My daughters outdid themselves this year with quilting items for me. I got a new iron, a box of 26 colors of Gutermann thread, 2 calendars ("Quilts" by Debby Kravovil & Piecemakers "Times and Seasons") Both have patterns for each month's quilt. My quilting daughter made me a wallhanging of Santa looking at The Star, holding a surfboard, surrounded by an emu, platypus, kangaroo, kiwi and a koala from "Chrissy Down Under" plus GCs for LSQ and JoAnn's. My daughters are SO good to me.

Ahhh, thats very thoughtful and sweet. Kids are the best. My son and future DIL got me a Joann's gift card and hubby got me everything on my "Connecting Threads wish List" that I gave him in November. Didnt expect that. Actually being a quilter makes it pretty easy for someone to buy for us, LOL. Glad you had a wonderful Christmas!!
