Ah yes, but then you have to pay postage to send to every person on the swap list. If we have a hostess you only pay to send to the hostess and then return it to you.

I'm not sure about 1930's repro fabric though. I don't know anything about it. Like where to buy it. :)

The reason that I am not just saying this person mail here and this person mail there is b/c what would happen if someone doesn't mail their fabric out. Then it wouldn't be fair. The way I have suggested the swap is the way it's done on the other board which seems to work very well. This way if someone doesn't send their fabric in then they just don't get any sent back to them. Yes there is more postage this way but fair in the way that if someone doesn't mail out to their person and that person did they are out of fabric. Did I explain that right? Hope I didn't confuse anyone more.

I put in for the 30's fabric b/c someone else suggested it. I will have to ask the quilt store where to find it myself. But I am up for something new. Hope eveyone is as excited as I am.

I'm in! I just recently moved and thought I would faint from all the fabric I discovered I had! My poor husband was speechless for it took six trips just for my room alone!!

The swaps I have been in we went to post office and weighed our package which was put in a tyvex envelope and had them put the same amount of return postage in another tyvex and inserted in with what we sent. Worked out just fine. Helen

I bet you all have lots of fun opening your packages then choosing new fabrics to go with what you have been send-and of course choosing fabrics to enter the swaps with

I would certainly be joining in if I werent here in the UK - being so far away makes the costs rise due to the postage

I cant wait for your packages to start arriving so you can all start posting pics and I can drool over your wonderful fabrics

I would be interested, I did a 2 1/2 inch strip swap a long time ago and it was great, and I really did use all the strips in a reversible strip quilt. Fun stuff. Thanks for letting me know

I like doing the 'stripper' thing...swaping 3" (you can do more with them) strips

In the future this will happen. I enjoy the noodles (strips) swaps also. Maybe for July we can do a noodle or charm swap. Maybe we will take a poll and see what more people want to do.
