Hey -

I see the symbols on the sides of the thread. I know orange means unread, and when it moves, there are a lot of replies. I also found the key at the bottom that tells this (I'm resourceful, lol).

What I'm wondering is if the "sticky" one comes up, what does that mean? What's a "sticky" thread?

Also, how does one lock a topic?

Thanks

PS, I meant topic threads on the board, not fabric threads

Sticky means it will stay at top, and locked means no one can add on to it. Both attributes are applied by admin and moderators. If you would like to lock a thread that you started, ask them to do it for you - and you should probably explain why if it isn't obvious.

a thread can be sticky without being locked. some of the "stuck" topics were posted by Admin or a moderator, but some were not. we "stick" the topics we want to keep on the first page of a section where we hope everyone will see and read them.

Ahh, I see. Thank you both :D
