I am ready to start quilting my T-shirt but am unsure what kind of batting to use. I just plan on doing a meandering pattern. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Depends on how closely you want to quilt it.

T-shirt quilts can be awfully heavy. For that reason I suggest my customers use a lightweight batting like Hobbs Polydown in them.

I've done a number with warm and natural and they look very nice but are heavy depending on size you make

I made my dad a NASCAR t-shirt quilt and use warm and white batting. It is heavy but works nicely.

Thanks everyone! I was thinking I would use a light weight batting I don't want this to be too heavy. I just wasn't sure how they would show under the t-shirts. I want soft and light but not too poofy.
