I'm interested in what others have to say about this - will be watching

i would use iron on tricot interfacing

use interfacing- just like you use on the other t's

don't know why that double posted- sure wasn't worth saying it twice ;-)

I would test the iron on interfacing on a part you won't use, like the sleeve and see if it melts the silky type fabric before commiting to using them in the quilt.

I just stabilized a few silky feeling soccer shirts this way. seemed to work well but I haven't sewn them together yet.

I included one of those silky ones in my GS quilt. I did put iron on interfacing on the back of it so the batting wouldn't migrate through. It seemed to hold its shape as well as the other shirts.

I have used those shirts..I make sure that there is stabilizer on all t-shirts...
